About the role | Mo te mahiWe are looking for a Senior Procurement Advisor to provide high-quality procurement advice and oversight across the organisation. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Procurement and Commercial, you will support end-to-end sourcing activity, ensure compliance with Government Procurement rules, and partner with internal stakeholders to deliver strong commercial and contractual outcomes aligned with organisational and government priorities.Key responsibilities include: Develop and lead strategic sourcing activities across corporate spend Provide oversight and assurance of best practice procurement processes Lead procurement planning and advise on appropriate procurement routes Support negotiation and development of contracts, frameworks, and commercial agreements Monitor and review supplier and service provider performance Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Skills & Experience| Nga pukenga me nga wheakoTo be successful in this role you will bring: At least five years’ experience in a senior or similar procurement role A Bachelor of Commerce, MCIPS, or a similar degree level qualification (desirable) Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement and contract management practices Experience applying procurement rules, policies, and assurance frameworks Proven ability to engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills What’s in it for you?
