This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week

The remuneration range for this role is $64,306 to $90,785 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.

The opportunity

As Procurement Administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the procurement function, enabling efficient, compliant and well-documented procurement activity across the organisation.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain and administer procurement systems and records
  • Publish tender documentation through the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS)
  • Manage the Procurement team Inbox and related tasks where required
  • Coordinate evaluation panels, including scheduling of meetings and document preparation
  • Ensure records and audit trails are maintained for compliance
  • Assist with monthly reporting

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • Strong experience in an administrative, coordination or process driven role
  • Exposure to working in a procurement environment, ideally government or local government
  • A high level of computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite with experience using JIRA or other project planning software
  • Confidence in communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
