Order and manage food supplies, ensuring inventory is properly stocked and rotated.
Taste and inspect food to ensure quality and flavour standards are consistently met.
Prepare meals for customers with special dietary requirements or allergies.
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, sanitising work areas and equipment. Monitor portion sizes to control costs and ensure consistency.
Assist in the overall operation of the kitchen, including food storage and preparation. Supervise and train kitchen helpers or other junior staff.
Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items.
Ideally 2 years of relevant experience or a level 4 qualification in hospitality with three months of proven experience.
