In playing a key role in expanding cancer and blood services, youll bring clinical expertise, a commitment to continuous learning, and a passion for equitable, evidence-based cancer care.Key responsibility areas include:SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment) delivery and Radiation Oncology trainingUtilise professional knowledge and skill to provide a holistic approach to nursing care that is safe and of the highest quality possiblePatient Management and Care Co-ordinationParticipate in quality improvement initiatives within Cancer & Blood Services Te Tai TokerauClick here to view the position description.About the Team/Service/LocationCancer & Blood services currently provide both Haematology and Medical Oncology out-patient services including SACT administration.

You will be working alongside a wide team of multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver SACT to this population. We provide SACT treatment in several locations within Te Tai Tokerau including Kaitaia, Bay of Islands and Dargaville.

Once fully trained, you will be expected to travel on occasion to these units to deliver SACT.The new Radiation oncology build is due to open in July 2026, completing cancer care provided in Te Tai Tokerau Great news for our patients! Once the services allows, you will also be expected to train within this area of the service.Work within a tight knit specialist team in the beautiful Te Tai Tokerau, you will always be supported to grow personally and professionally.He Waka Eka Noa We are all in this together is our philosophy.For more information on living and working in Northland, click hereAbout youHold registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current APCHaving post-registration experience in Oncology, Haematology, Chemotherapy or Radiation Oncology is preferred, bringing your expertise to support patients and whanau.
