OneStaff has an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator / Recruiter with a passion for working with people, to join our team and learn the ropes of the recruitment industry. We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent time management skills, to help us take advantage of the increasing need for recruitment services in the Dunedin region.
Our business focuses on providing recruitment and labour hire services to a variety of industries, from trades & construction, to retail, hospitality, and office-based roles. This role will involve working as part of a small team to run a busy temporary workforce as well as focusing on the health & safety of our onsite personnel.We're looking to employ an individual with excellent administration experience and the desire to learn new skills in this fast paced and exciting industry.
The core job details:- Office admin, including maintaining and updating our internal candidate management database.
- Onboarding and processing new job seekers entering the office.
- Excellent customer service in phone, email and in person interactions.
- Dealing with high volumes of job seekers from various backgrounds and cultures.
- Management of existing client requirements and maintaining relationships.
- The day-to-day logistics of organising a large and mobile work force.
- A focus on the health and safety of our staff when working on the sites of our clients, including recording site inductions, assessments, and observations.
- From time to time, you may be required to work outside of standard hours to meet operational needs. Your flexibility and commitment will be appreciated.
- A fantastic attitude with excellent people skills and time management experience.
- Experience operating and maintaining a complex database.
- A passion for customer service and dealing with people.
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying composed in busy times in the office.
- A great sense of humour and be willing to fit into a fun team.

This role is full time, 8am-5pm for a period of 13 months. The expected start date is mid September 2025.
Remuneration will be negotiated based on individual skills and experience; full training will be provided in this role.
