We're a Classic New Zealand pub with a kitchen that blends modern cuisine. We have a large abundance of local seafood that we prepare and cook for our menu. Our Kitchen is well set out with a separate dessert and baking area as well as a well stocked spacious main kitchen.

We are located on Stewart Island, so a great place if you are into the outdoors and nature!

What we’re looking for

At least 2 years experience in chef de partie or sous chef roles
Can commit to the summer season
Has ideally worked with seafood
Someone who is competent on pan and grill work
Comfortable doing some baking.
Good Communication Skills both In the kitchen and with front of House

Someone with good food safety standards
