About the Role
We're on the lookout for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on commercial construction projects across the Canterbury region. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be driving site performance, keeping projects on track, and ensuring high-quality delivery from start to finish.
You'll be the go-to person on site - coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. If you enjoy running a tight ship and take pride in delivering quality builds, this is a great opportunity to step into a key role with real impact.
Salary $100,000 - $120,000 per annum (depending on experience)

- Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, and quality
- Reading and interpreting plans for accurate delivery
- Ensuring compliance with NZ Building Code and specifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of NZ Building Code and construction delivery
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
- Solid understanding of site logistics, programming, and QA processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Trade background or relevant qualification preferred
- Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
