We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected construction company with a strong pipeline of work across Christchurch and the wider South Island region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of projects from start through to handover, working with a professional, delivery-focused team.

The Role as Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing site operations, subcontractors, and trades
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Coordinating programmes, resources, and materials
- Liaising with project managers, consultants, and clients
- Monitoring progress and reporting on programme and cost performance
- Leading and motivating site teams to achieve project milestones
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the NZ construction market
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes
- Solid understanding of NZ building regulations and health & safety requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain site productivity
- Relevant trade qualification or construction management qualification (preferred)
