What you'll be doing:
- Leading and supervising civil crews on site
- Coordinating day-to-day operations to keep projects on track
- Reading and working from plans/specs
- Managing plant, materials, and subcontractors
- Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld
- Liaising with site managers, engineers, and clients
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or Leading Hand
- Strong background in earthworks, drainage, roading, or subdivisions
- Confident running a crew and making decisions on site
- Good understanding of H&S and site compliance
- WTR endorsements and Class 4+ licence (ideal but not essential)
- Ability to lead by example and get stuck in when needed
- Tech-savvy and confident using site management software, plans, and digital tools to keep projects running smoothly
