We are looking for a keen Truck Sales Representative to join our sales team.

The Opportunity:

HCB Technologies is part of the Bapcor group, we are a specialist wholesale business trading nationally in the New Zealand battery market, dealing with batteries suited for fire alarm panels through to super yachts and everything in-between.

About the Position:

You are responsible as our new Truck Sales Representative covering the greater Northland region, you will help increase our profile and look after our customer base as well as:

  • Building great working relationships with new and existing customers to showcase our products.
  • Attending to client enquiries, interpreting needs, discussing our products and driving sales across the region.
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Working closely with the team to manage a large portfolio of loyal clients.
  • Delivering our products around the region on a regular call plan.
About you:

You are looking to get a start in sales or have some customer service experience and want to take the next step in your sales career. You may be currently working in a retail environment or have an automotive background and be looking for a Monday to Friday role.

You will also have:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new procedures and systems.
  • Be proactive, flexible, and driven to succeed.
  • A full New Zealand drivers' licence, ability to drive manual transmission.
  • A Class 2, Dangerous Goods and Forklift license would be advantageous however we will assist the right candidate in obtaining.
