About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and welcoming individual to provide effective, professional and values-based customer focussed service to clients and their families attending the Outpatients Department at Kaitaia Hospital.The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. This role will involve reception tasks, maintaining clinic files, ward clerk responsibilities, data entry, and collecting statistics.About the Team/Service/LocationThe Outpatients Department at Kaitaia Hospital holds clinics for specialties including Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT), Medical/Cardiac, Medical/Diabetes, Medical/Well Elderly, Obstetrician/Gynaecologist, Orthopaedic, Paediatrics, Podiatrist, Psychiatrist, Psychologist/Diabetes, Retinopathy and Surgical.For more information on living and working in Northland click hereAbout youAs a Receptionist, you will have the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people and establish and maintain harmonious interpersonal relationshipsAdvanced computer and data entry skills, including experience in Microsoft Suite programsExperience working in a customer service, fast-paced environmentAwareness and understanding of patient confidentialityPleasant and professional telephone mannerPrevious experience working in a healthcare setting is desirable, however not essential to apply.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
