CUSTOMER SALES & SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE / CLASS 2 DRIVER
The role is structured as:
IMMEDIATE START
We are a commercial truck & bus tyre retread manufacturer & distributor seeking a strong, confident, flexible and motivated individual for an IMMEDIATE START as a Customer Sales & Service Person with a Class 2 Licence.
About the Role: This is a hands-on, varied role combining customer service, driving, and on-site warehousing/logistics support.The role is structured as:
- 2 -3 days per week delivering product and servicing customers throughout the Waikato, Auckland and Upper North Island using our company medium-sized trucks (Class 2 Licence) and requires 1 overnight stay in Kerikeri.
- 2 days per week on-site at our Papakura distribution centre loading and unloading your box body truck, completing local deliveries, assisting with warehousing & logistics duties and operational support.
A structured training and handover will be provided to ensure you can step into the role quickly and confidently.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver truck tyre retreads and service customers on scheduled delivery days
- Provide professional customer service and accurate product information
- Assist with warehousing and logistics operations on non-driving days
- Load, unload, and handle tyres safely (heavy lifting required)
- Support factory and dispatch operations as required
- Travel throughout the mid and upper North Island on driving days, including 1 overnight stay (Tuesday night)
- Full-time hours, approximately 47-48 hours per week
- Role split: 2 - 3 days driving / 2 days on-site warehousing & logistics
- Flexibility required, as additional hours may occasionally be needed
- Class 2 Licence
- Excellent attitude and reliable attendance
- Commitment to all workplace health and safety procedures
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Honest and professional communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
- Willingness to stay away overnight for one night per week (usually Tuesday night)
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Confident communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
- Experience in the truck tyre industry, warehousing, or logistics would be an advantage, however, reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn are essential.
