THE ROLE:

Come join us on a 10‑month parental leave contract where you can step in, make an impact, and take real ownership of a busy, relationship‑driven portfolio. In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of 400–500 small business customers, typically running fleets of 1–20 vehicles, acting as their first point of contact for anything related to their vehicles.

This is a hands‑on, relationship‑driven role where you’ll spend plenty of time on the phone - guiding customers, solving problems, quoting options, and helping them make the right decisions. You’ll balance proactive outbound calling with detailed administration, ensuring every customer receives the support and clarity they need.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve company sales targets by retaining Small Fleets customers and identifying new business growth opportunities from existing customers;
  • Champion the customer needs and requirements within FleetPartners organisation to add value to the customers management of their fleet through pro-active advice.
  • Define strategies to expand multi-service offerings by understanding the key drivers, their key pain points and decision makers in the process.
  • Upload and maintain relevant customer data in Salesforce and other operating systems to capture all opportunities and customer holistically.
  • Present on customer portfolio sales performance quarterly including expected business plan and budget outcomes;
  • Feedback and report to management on any competitor activity within the portfolio.

ABOUT YOU:

You’re a driven, self‑motivated sales professional ready to take the next step in your sales career. Ideally, you’ve spent the last couple of years coordinating key accounts, managing a portfolio, or building strong client relationships. You’re confident handling both the relationship‑building and the administrative backbone that keeps accounts running smoothly.

There are no scripts in this role, so you’re someone thrives in real conversations, can think on their feet, and enjoys coming up with practical solutions across a variety of scenarios.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 2 years of experience in an account management or sales orientated role.
  • Proven success in retaining and growing portfolios, exceeding targets, and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, engage, and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • A proactive, self‑starting attitude with the drive to own your portfolio and continuously improve
  • Background in fleet management, leasing, automotive, finance, or brokerage (highly advantageous)
