A key part of our role is to understand what's happening, what the future might hold, and help focus effort across the system to ensure the right settings, tools and funding are in place and drive action through collaboration and partnership Mō te tūnga | About the role As Team Leader, Contracts, you will lead a team to deliver contract management activities in support of housing programmes, products and tools, ensuring contract management advice and approaches are fit-for purpose and legally sound.
This includes: Manage operational processes and workflow to deliver core contract management activities, including managing relationships with contract providers, and managing the contract implementation, review and renewal processes as needed Ensure contract management advice, recommendations and activities align with national strategies, plans and settings, and reflect value-for-money Work alongside Product Leads for product-specific information, and the Compliance & Support team regarding specific contractual requirements, creating a joined-up approach to contract management for our providers.
Maintain contractual documentation and records, sharing data and information to inform reporting; monitor delivery against requirements, and oversee the distribution of funds as per contracts Work across the Programme and Contracts teams and the wider group to create a joined-up experience for internal and external stakeholders, and to offer overflow support around the smooth delivery of programmes, products, contracts and toolsThe position involves occasional travel throughout New Zealand.
