The Brigham is a picturesque Garden Cafe & wedding venue in North West Auckland (Whenuapai).
We are on the hunt for a experienced and enthusiastic Chef de partie, looking to grow their career and be challenged in a new position.The Brigham Operates as a Cafe during the day and Functions & weddings in the evening
Contemporary New Zealand cuisine with emphasis on Fresh and local cuisine
About the roleCafe experience along with Functions will be an advantage
Situated in Hobsonville/ Whenuapai
Must be committed with a passion for cooking, attention to detail & creativity
Must be available to work weekends and rostered shifts
A team player with Problem solving skills
Able to work in a team as well has Sole charge
Able to cook Cafe menu and Functions (including some ethnic food)
A passion for cooking and proven experience at Chef de partie or above level
Will suit someone living in West Auckland, North west or North Shore
Full time role (minimum 30 hours each week)

Must have at least 2 year experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Inventory Control & management
Good Knowledge of Contemporary New Zealand cuisine & Seasonal produce
Knowledge of menu creation will be an advantage
Base Culinary qualification (National Diploma or level 2 certificate or equivalent) will be preferred
Excellent grooming and personal hygiene standards
Weekend availability is a must with flexibility for other days.
