We are seeking a candidate with dispatch, warehousing experience to join our busy pump and electric motor business in Palmerston North.

We are seeking a dispatch, warehousing person , for our Palmerston North branch. If you have the relative skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate must be able to assist customers in a professional manner, while managing our warehouse storage area and dispatching freight orders on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities:- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection, with a high standard of accuracy.
- Receive incoming stock, manage warehouse space.
- Able to work and priorities tasks while be timely and well organized.
- Candidates will need to be individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, motivated to learn, with a positive and friendly attitude, someone who is fit/ healthy, honest, and reliable with good people skills.
- To manage warehouse space, plan & ahead for incoming container stock, forward planning required.
- Operate and maintain all lifting equipment e.g., forklifts and picking machines.
- To liaise with our production team to sort parts / components required.
- Car license, Forklift license.
- Computer literate, experience with freight systems, track n trace plus stock reconciliation.
- Experience managing warehouse and storage space.
- Ability to learn some technical product information an advantage.
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
This position is answerable to: National Sales manager
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
