Warehouse Operator

We're on the lookout for a highly capable, physically fit, and self-motivated Warehouse Operator to join the Palmerston North branch of Tyremax. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a sharp eye for detail, and are ready to take ownership of dispatch, inwards goods, and warehouse flow - we want to hear from you!

• Working Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Accurately handle inwards goods, warehousing, and dispatch functions.
• Process goods returns and stock transfers quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse environment.
• Restock, assist with stocktakes, and support delivery duties when required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and customers.
• Uphold exceptional accuracy (99.8% dispatch accuracy target) and meet tight daily timeframes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong physical fitness and stamina - this role is hands-on!
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to getting it right first time.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Flexibility and initiative - you learn fast and think on your feet.
• A solid team player mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a customer-focused warehouse or logistics role.
• Commitment to health and safety, and to Tyremax values: Care, Trust, Teamwork, Drive, and Humility.
• Current NZ Class 1 driver's licence and forklift endorsement.

To Be Considered, You'll Need To be able to Pass a pre-employment drug test, provide two work references, complete an ACC pre-employment check and hold a clean MOJ criminal record report
