Work Supervisor
New Plymouth
A position is available for a Works Supervisor to join our busy property maintenance company. The position will be based in New Plymouth.
Duties will include, but are not limited to-- Assessing properties for required maintenance and repairs
- Supervising jobs requiring multiple trades.
- Adhering to our Health & Safety Policy in accordance with current legislation
- Liaising with subcontractors, staff and customers
- Follow jobs through to completion ensuring work is completed and to a high standard
- Full driver’s license
- Trade or other relevant qualifications in the construction or building fields or relevant experience would be advantageous, however, not essential.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Ability to work with people from all walks of life
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with technology
- Excellent time management skills - Ability to manage your own workload
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Trade knowledge would definitely be advantageous; full training will be provided to the right applicant. This role would ideally suit a tradesman looking to get off the tools.
