Class 2 Relief Driver for Bread Delivery Run
Class 2 Truck Driver – Relief (Bread Deliveries | Marlborough)
We are contracted to George Weston Foods (GWF) and are seeking a reliable Class 2 Truck Driver to assist with bread and bakery deliveries throughout the Marlborough region. This is a relief driver position, covering staff holidays, sick leave, and short-notice absences.
The role involves early morning starts (approx 4am) and the safe operation of a Class 2 delivery truck, delivering bread products to supermarkets and retail outlets. This is a physically demanding role that requires regular loading and unloading of bread crates and repetitive lifting, so applicants must be physically fit and capable of completing manual handling tasks safely.
Applicants must hold a clean Class 2 driver licence, be reliable and punctual, and have the flexibility to work early starts and short-notice shifts. Previous delivery driving experience is preferred (but not essential as training will be given), along with a good understanding of road safety and fatigue management.A professional attitude and good customer service skills are essential.
