Service & Delivery Specialist – Heat Exchangers | Client FocusMt Maunganui / Hamilton-based | $100K–$150K depending on experience
Are you a hands-on service professional with a background in planning, processing, mechanical engineering and machinery? Do you thrive in client-facing roles, particularly in the dairy and agri-tech sector? Our Client is looking for a motivated, switched-on Service & Delivery Specialist to support their key clients in the maintenance and upgrade of heat exchangers and associated systems.
About the Role:
This is afrontline service rolewhere you'll be responsible forquoting, planning, and deliveringmaintenance and upgrade projects—particularly around heat exchangers across multiple sites. You’ll be collaborating closely with clients to assess plant needs, scope works, and coordinate end-to-end delivery with precision and professionalism.
This role is critical to thecontinuity of product linesacross dairy machinery, processing systems, and on-farm technology—ensuring uptime, reliability, and compliance.
What our Client’s Looking For:
- A strong service mindset with client-facing experience
- A background in fitting, mechanical processing, or production planning
- Solid understanding of heat exchangers and/or maintenance planning
- Ability to quote jobs, scope plant requirements, and coordinate teams
- Proven experience with Microsoft Projects, and delivery scheduling
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle high-value client relationships
- Confidence to work independently while collaborating across teams
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience working within the dairy industry
- Trade background (e.g., mechanical fitter, planning, scheduling , dairy technician, plant maintenance)
- Experience working across two service divisions or multi-site support
You’ll be reporting directly to theservice manager, and working closely with a capable internal team and a wider support.
