Executive Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to:
  • Support our busy Management Team
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants
  • Provide direct assistance to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive

What we’re looking for:

This role requires adaptability and flexibility, as priorities can shift quickly in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a team environment with strong communication and a proactive attitude to every task
  • Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Brings a pragmatic approach to problem-solving — without taking themselves too seriously
  • Has previous executive administrative experience
  • Is comfortable with technology and understands confidentiality
  • Local Government experience is an advantage but not essential

Position details :

  • Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week, with flexibility to increase to 30 hours when needed
  • Preferred Workdays: Tuesday to Friday
  • Location: Rangiora
