Through integration and collaboration, we are building a health system based on partnership, equity, sustainability, whānau- centred care, and excellence.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Chief Allied Health Scientific and Technical (CAHST).
You
- ll play a key role in communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement, helping to drive strategic and operational outcomes as well as administrative support to the wider Allied Health team.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level administrative support to the CAHST, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangementsExtract data, prepare and coordinate high-quality reportsPrepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points for executive meetingsCoordinate and support the execution of operational projects and initiatives across the Allied Health PortfolioManage communications on behalf of the CAHST, including drafting correspondence and responding to queriesProvide financial/budgeting administrative supportAct as a point of contact between the CAHST and internal/external stakeholdersMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionAbout YouYou are a confident, adaptable professional who thrives under pressure.
You bring strong organisational skills, initiative, and a high level of discretion.
Your communication skills both written and verbal are excellent, and you- re comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.Skills and ExperienceProven experience as an EA/PA, ideally within a healthcare or complex organisational settingAbility to adapt quickly and manage shifting prioritiesFlexible, fast learner with a proactive mindsetAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and confidence using digital tools and reporting systemsExperience in the health sector is advantageous but not essentialUnderstanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in the workplaceWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellnesses'.
