Full time Sous Chef

Fratelli is a quality Italian restaurant that has being serving some of Wellington's best Italian food since 2009.
We are located in Blair St in the heart of the city and open 6 nights per week Mon-Sat.
We are looking for a quality full time Sous Chef to help run the kitchen and assist the owner running the kitchen and menu.We make all our own pasta, gnocchi, sauces, breads, stocks, gelato's etc and prep our own meats, fish and braises.
We are looking for an experienced chef who wants to cook good food and who can work a grill, pans and pastas too.
This is a good role for someone who has cooking experience of at least 4 years as a chef
The job will be a mix of making and cooking the pasta, gnocchi and risotto section some nights and cooking the grill (meat and fish) section other nights.
You must have the following attributes:
- Have experience in a busy kitchen, and be able to work quickly
- Be keen on creating some great food. Able to write dishes and assist with creating new dishes.
- Be reliable & hard working
- Be able to manage your time efficiently
- Not be afraid to clean
- Write and complete a prep list
- Place orders
- Complete a food control plan
- Have a healthy team attitude
- Bring the best you to the kitchen
- Able to run service
- Help work with Junior members in the team
We have full time work of at least 34 hours per week and up to 43hrs
We are closed on Sundays and most Public holidaysBE IN NZ AND ABLE TO COME IN FOR AN INTERIVEW! We are NOT an accredited employer
