We are looking for a friendly, organised, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team in a busy rural general practice. This is a full-time role, although hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.
Patient check-in and maintaining accurate patient records
Processing payments and handling administrative tasks
Has strong computer and administrative skills
Works well as part of a team
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment while helping our clinical team provide high-quality care to our community.
Key responsibilities include: Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
Managing phone enquiries and booking appointmentsPatient check-in and maintaining accurate patient records
Processing payments and handling administrative tasks
Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day practice administration
We are looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and people skills
Is organised and able to multitask in a busy environmentHas strong computer and administrative skills
Works well as part of a team
Previous medical reception or health sector experience is an advantage but not essential
