We are currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade at Cordis Auckland on a full time basis (40 hours/week).
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Running the In Room Dining section in a smooth and efficient manner
- Ensuring Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs are supported and completing allocated tasks on time, training them to be able to run the different sections in your absence
- Maintain a high level of functionality and efficiency, demonstrating food cost control practices
- Ensure high standards of hygiene as per HACCP standards within the kitchen as well as your section
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a 5 star hotel environment
- An up-to-date food hygiene certificate
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment
- Level 4 or equivalent cookery certificate
