The Opportunity
Join our dynamic team as a Bartender / Duty Manager in our popular Bar and Gaming Lounge, located in the heart of Meadowlands, Somerville. This full-time role offers you the chance to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant hospitality venue and make a real impact on our guests' experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate all bar and gaming lounge operations
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a seamless guest experience
- Handle cash, process payments, and oversee inventory management
- Enforce licensing and gaming regulations
- Lead and motivate staff, including scheduling and training
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively
- Valid LCQ and Manager's Certificate (essential)
- Proven experience in bar, gaming, or hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service skills and passion for creating memorable experiences
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Thorough understanding of liquor licensing laws and gaming regulations
- Proficiency in cash handling, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week OR Part-time, hours are negotiable
- Shifts: Either 10 AM - 5 PM or 5 PM - 1 AM (days are negotiable)
- Wage: $25/hour (negotiable based on experience)
