The Role:
CMT Group is seeking a highly motivated and driven Hydro-Vacuum Excavation Truck Operator, with proven experience in the operation of a hydro-vacuum excavation truck.
As our Hydro-Vac Operator, you will be working with a team to undertake a variety of different construction projects for CMT Group. To accomplish this, you will require full Class 4 drivers licence. You will be honest and reliable and keen assist the team where necessary.You will be a strong advocate for health and safety, working with a cohesive team to deliver projects.
The ideal candidate will require a track record of experience of using a hydro-vac, you won’t mind working in the outdoors and keeping physically fit.

Key responsibilities will include:- Operate vacuum/ jetting unit for underground services
- Set up and inspect grounding and/ or bonding procedures for hydro-vac operation
- Complete all required paperwork such as prestart and job dockets
- Suction of water and other debris left over from previous drilling jobs.
- Operation of heavy equipment
- Class 4 drivers licence
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely
- Effective time management skills
- Hard working and practical with a strong work ethic
