About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Part time Kitchen Assistant to work at Wairau Hospital, in Blenheim. Work a minimum of 9 hours per week.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for; * Basic food preparation- Sandwich making
- Providing superb customer service
- Serving meals
- Stock control
- Assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties
He korero mou / About you:
If you're our ideal candidate; * You will have good communication skills, be well presented, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.- Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167 and 168) (or be happy to train for one).
- You will have superior customer service skills but
- Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
