Program Manager – Digital Technology Programs

Do you love technology and education—but don’t necessarily code yourself? We’re looking for an organised, people-focused Program Manager to run our fast-growing coding and AI programs for kids and assist in an exciting app development project for the University of Canterbury focused on structured literacy.
What you’ll be doing:- Recruiting, training, and scheduling university student instructors to deliver programs.
- Managing enrolments and ensuring smooth communication with parents.
- Liaising with venue managers, parents, and stakeholders to keep programs running seamlessly.
- Growing enrolments and program venues to reach more students.
- Supporting our structured literacy app development project with the University of Canterbury.
- Overseeing systems and admin tasks that keep everything running behind the scenes.
- Organising PLD AI Workshops for teachers
- A confident, organised communicator who enjoys working with people.
- Background in teaching, education, or working with children is highly valued.
- A genuine love for working with school-aged children.
- Tech-savvy and passionate about technology & education.
- Previous experience in program coordination, education, events, or admin is a plus.
- A self-starter who thrives on making things happen.
- Must have a car and preferably a First Aid certificate.
- On-call during the school term between 3–5pm.
- Around 3 hours during the day for on-site visits during holiday programs.
- Starting at 15 hrs/week, with the potential to grow quickly to 20+ hrs/week as we expand.
- $35/hr starting pay.
