What You’ll Do:
You’ll be the friendly face and helping hand that makes our programmes fun, safe, and engaging for tamariki.- Join the fun: Supervise and support children as they dive into a variety of activities.
- Keep it safe & tidy: Ensure the environment is clean, hygienic, and safe for kids, staff, parents, and visitors.
- Be a right-hand hero: Assist the Programme Manager with daily programme delivery, staff support, and team leadership.
- Manage connections: Help manage parent and school liaison to keep communication smooth.
- Stay connected: Report any concerns or behaviour updates to the Programme Manager so we can support every child.
- 6+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, rostered across before-school (7:00am–8:30am) and after-school (2:30pm–6:00pm) programmes. Holiday programme hours may also be available (7:00am–6:00pm).

- Previous experience working with children or working in the childcare/ education sector.
- Previous experience in organizing before and after school programs is highly beneficial.
- A strong communicator as you will be the face between sKids and the parents.
- A strong team player
- A Valid NZ work/student visa or is a NZ resident or citizen.
- In order to comply with Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004, only applicants over the age of 20 years can be considered for this role.
