Operations Manager - Kapiti
To support our daily operations & team of Drivers, our multi-faceted Kapiti branch is looking for an experienced leader to join our team as the **Operations Manager.**
The role involves the organisation, supervision, and control of day-to-day operations, including collection vehicles, plant, assets, and employees, while working closely with council and commercial customers.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll make sure operations run safely, efficiently, and reliably, while meeting corporate requirements like Health and Safety, environmental compliance, reporting, and branch administration. You’ll lead from the front as needed, make sound operational decisions, and keep the team and customers on track.
**What you’ll bring**- 5+ years management experience in a multi-faceted role
- Clean Class 2 licence or above
- Working knowledge of Accounting and Commercial awareness
- Intermediate level skills with MS Office
- Demonstrated ability to manage employees and a fleet of trucks
