Job Description
Miss Korea Kimchi is a small, home-based artisan kimchi manufacturing business specialising in traditional Korean fermented foods.
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the overall operation of our manufacturing, procurement, supply, and market activities.
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end operational process, ensuring efficient production, compliant food safety practices, and smooth coordination of supply and sales channels including markets and events.

Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily kimchi manufacturing operations
- Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply and distribution
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate participation in farmers’ markets and food events
- Liaise with suppliers, distributors, and event organisers
- Improve operational efficiency and workflow processes
- Maintain records related to production, purchasing, and compliance
- Support business growth and process improvement
- Coordinate suppliers, logistics, and inventory
- At least 3 years’ experience in an operations, management, or similar role
- Has experience in food manufacturing operations, supply, or distribution
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Is organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple operational functions
- Understands food safety standards and compliance requirements
- Has strong coordination and communication skills
- Is comfortable working in a small business / home-based environment
- Has an interest or background in fermented foods or specialty food production
- Ability to speak Korean and understand Korean cultures is an advantage for
communicating with suppliers and customers.
