About The Role

The Customer Service Team Leader will represent the Toyota brand with pride and recognize the importance of being both the voice of Albany Toyota and the voice of the customer. As the Customer Service Team Leader you will have a warm, friendly customer-first approach and a positive attitude to build strong professional relationships.

The role is varied and you will need a keen eye for detail as well as the ability to work with different departments such as the Service, Sales and Finance departments. The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help lead, motivate, and support the customer service team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and care.
  • Coordinate service bookings and follow-up processes.
  • Receive and respond to phone calls, emails and letters.
  • Ensure team performance meets dealership standards and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with sales and service departments to ensure seamless service.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or front-of-house leadership role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to be able to pick up the phone to make a call.
  • A customer-first attitude and a passion for helping people.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle competing priorities.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not essential.
  • Confidence with digital systems and booking platforms.
