With our existing Admin Team Lead leaving we are looking for a person to join us at Team Medical.- General Practice and Urgent Care Services provided on site
- Permanent Full Time - 40 hours.
- Conveniently located on the Kapiti Coast!
As a key health hub to the Kapiti Coast our Urgent Care services operate 7 days a week from 8am - 10pm.

About the Position and You: We have an exciting opportunity for a someone to Lead the Admin & Reception team at Team Medical. We are looking for someone to bring their positive, constructive, collaborative, resilient 5 star service attitude & standards along with their efficient methods of working and passion to our team.If you are ready to step up into a leadership role, or already an experienced leader, this is the role for you. Mentoring and support will be available for the right candidate. This is a 40 hour per week role worked over 7 days - Monday to Sunday Our Admin Team Lead plays an essential role in the patient service delivery, operational running & financial performance of our business.
As part of our Leadership Team you will play a key role in the overall planning and performance of the Centre. The Admin Team Lead typically leads the Admin & Reception team that provides mission critical front of house & back office services to our valued patients and kaimahi.
You will be responsible for service levels, day to day financial management, audits & reporting, payroll, rostering, collaboration with the centre leadership team, recruitment, development and implementation of new and existing models of care for our community.
With this change in the role we are open to exploring ideas and opportunities candidates may bring to the role tasks and duties with a view to patient service, efficiency and continuous quality improvement.
Key attributes include:
- Having leadership and management experience or aspirations to have
- Ideally experience with Medtech Evolution & query builds
- Advanced computer skills
- Proven quality improvement experience
- Great communication skills at all levels with patients, their whanau, your whanau kaimahi colleagues and our allied business partners
