CNC Machinist Team Leader

This is a hands on leadership role in a state of the art engineering workshop, where your expertise in CNC machining, Fanuc programming, and team leadership will be highly valued. You’ll be leading a small but skilled team in a precision focused environment that services both local and international clients.

• Leading day to day operations of the CNC machine shop
• Programming and operating CNC machines (Fanuc Doosan preferred)
• Managing workflow, job schedules, and ensuring quality output
• Mentoring and supporting machinists in a positive, safety first team environment
• Driving continuous improvement in processes and productivity
• Overseeing maintenance, tooling, consumables, and stock levels
• Interpreting complex engineering drawings for accurate production

• 10+ years’ CNC machining experience, ideally with Fanuc controlled Doosan machines
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining principles
• Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team oriented mindset
• Commitment to quality, health & safety, and continuous improvement
• Boring machine experience would be a bonus
