We are looking for Thai Massage Therapists.
Permanent Full time$30 per hour
Minimum of 30 hours and Maximum of 45 hours per week
Must be able to work on the weekends.
The Sense Forrest Thai massage located in Masterton is a professional Thai massage with friendly and relaxing atmosphere at workplace. We provide therapeutic Thai massage for our clients, Traditional Thai massage, oil massage, foot massage etc.
Our goal is to provide the best service for our clients and make clients left with a good feeling after massage, to have a happy team and be the best in town.
What we need from you:- At a minimum the successful applicant will have at least 3 years of experience working in a genuine Thai Massage therapist role is preferred AND
- At a minimum the successful Skill Standard Assessment Certificate as Traditional Thai Practitioner (Traditional Thai Massage)
- Excellent Customer service skill
- Positive attitude
- Flexible with schedule changes
- Day to day responsibility for cleanliness and hygiene to the treatment areas and tools.
- Professional appearance and personal hygiene.
- Cover reception when require.
- Our therapists must be customer service oriented and be able to communicate effectively
- Your experience must include an ability to manipulate and massage the body with working
client well-being should extend to knowing the causes of pain, and how to relieve discomfort, restore function and mobility.
- Your approach should be holistic, assessing the overall health of the client, and treat them accordingly.
- Consulting with customers to assess their massage needs and preferences and adjusting techniques to meet their individual needs.
- Guiding customers through the service offering, helping them to choose what type of massage would be most appropriate for them.
- Informing the customers about the benefits of Thai Massage Therapy.
- Informing the customers about available Thai Massage treatments and providing advice as to which treatments may be the most beneficial to them.
- Performing therapeutic massages, manipulating, twisting and stretching specific areas of the body.
- Prepare daily products will be using on customer skin
- Communicating with customers to ask question regarding their health before agreeing treatment.
- Communicating with customers to schedule appointment and sessions.
- A professional and welcoming attitude, putting the needs of the customers first.
- Having active and up to date knowledge of customer requirement and competitors.
- To promptly respond to customer’s queries to maximize profitability and reputation of the

- To attend any training and continuing professional development (CPD) courses when required, for example pregnancy and hot stone massages.
