Job/Position Title: Chef for Tuk Tuk Thai in Henderson
Welcome to Tuk Tuk Thai in Henderson, Auckland. We are family own and operate for more than 9 years. We are Thai Restaurant providing authentic Thai cuisine, dining in or take away to our local.
We are looking for an experienced Chef specialize in authentic Thai cuisine to join the team.
You will need to or must haveA minimum of 3 Years working experience specialized in Thai Cuisine/dishes.
Cookery or Thai Chef/Cook certificates are advantage
Have knowledge and understand of Basic Food Hygiene Standards
Has passion in Thai food cooking and creativity
Abilities to work as Team with other chefs/cooks
Good Kitchen management, clean and tidy
Be able to work under pressure since the restaurant is extremely
Location, Salary and hours
Tuk Tuk Thai located at 240A Great North Road Henderson Auckland
Pay rate of $25.00 per hours
Minimum of not less than 30 hour per weeks
Required to work on the weekend and pubic holiday
Responsibility and tasks will be but not limited to the following
Ingredient and Food preparation
Using cooking techniques and demonstrating the techniques to other chef or cook.
Monitoring, Seasoning and cook high quality Thai dishes to customers order and placing on the plates
Prepare sauces, soups, curries as required
Check and maintain kitchen stock level and examining foods/ingredients when received from food supplies and store them
Use of all foods stock and kitchen equipment
Planning and assist the owner with special menus, food requirement and pricing
Discussing any food preparing issues with owner and working out with other chefs
May freeze and preserve foods
Coordinate, supervise and train work of other chef/cook/kitchen staffs
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards as set by Council
