CNC Machinist
Description
This permanent full-time role based in Hamilton for a minimum of 40 hours per week comes with the opportunity of overtime hours paid at time and half; while not guaranteed are generally available and can be worked during the week or at times on Saturday mornings.Tooling, boot, and glasses allowances are also paid.

What you need for this role:
- Either be trade qualified in CNC machining or have 5 years’ experience in a machine job shop environment
- Have programming and setting experience
- Be able to work to a high standard and have a keen eye for detail
- Have a strong work ethic
- Have a problem-solving mind-set
- Enjoy being part of a team.
What we need you to do:
- Operate workshop machinery equipment: lathes (conventional and CNC), milling machines (conventional and CNC), drills, metal, and plastic cutting saws
- Programming and setting machines
- Work from drawings to achieve a high standard of workmanship
- Design and make jigs and fixtures when appropriate to improve efficiency.
