Responsibilities- Maintain and update financial records using various software programs
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Conduct regular accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations
- Prepare and file GST returns
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of transactions
- Perform general accounting tasks, such as data entry and journal entries
- Proven experience working as a Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to foster and maintain relationships with clients
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
