Restaurant Manager & Assistant Manager wanted - Christchurch

Exciting opportunity to join our Front of House team at Madam Kwong's Chinese Restaurant

We are seeking an enthusiastic & devoted Restaurant Manager and an Assistant Manager to join our Front of House team.

• Oversee daily operations and coordinate with different departments to ensure a high standard of customer service & satisfaction
• Manage staff performance during shifts and assist with training and supervision to promote a positive work environment
• Is required to maintain Restaurant's Food Control Plan and its documentation.
• Is required to update and renew Restaurant's Food Control Plan and Liqour Licence.
• Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with customer inquiries and complaints.
• Monitor health and safety and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Manage staff rosters and provide account with correct staff payroll hours
• Stock ordering and management.
• Constantly review and adapt restaurant's food and drinks menu

• Previous management experience in a busy, fast-paced hospitality role
• Knowledge in Chinese food and beverages beneficial
• Previous management experience in complying with Liqour licence
• Current LCQ and Christchurch Duty Manager Licence
• Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must be currently living in New Zealand
• Ability to work flexible hours, including late nights (up to 2am), weekends and public holidays.
