The Role: Join Our Culinary Family
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef who shares our passion for authenticflavours and exceptional customer experiences. You will be a key leader in our
kitchen, responsible for crafting the dishes that keep our customers coming back for
more and contributing to the smooth operation of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing menus, estimating food and labour costs, and sourcing high-
- Collaborating with Managers and kitchen and service staff to address all food
- Demonstrating culinary techniques and providing guidance on cooking
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality, authentic Sri Lankan food in
- Managing food preservation processes, including freezing and storing
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, and enforcing
- Selecting, training, and supervising kitchen staff where required, fostering a
- Maintaining our impeccable 5-star cleaning and hygiene standards
throughout the kitchen.
Are You the Right Fit?
You must have:- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen; OR
- A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 4) or an equivalent
qualification
