We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to assist our team across the summer at our busy seasonal cafe. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working under pressure with a high level of efficiency, cleanliness and is passionate about creating delicious food.Skills and experience in baking would be advantageous.
This is a part-time casual position with the potential to increase hours through our busy summer period (December/January).
Our season runs from October-April including public holidays. Availability over Labour Weekend and the Christmas/New Year period is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of fresh cabinet food, baking and seasonal treatsWork alongside the Head Chef to maintain efficient workflows
Consistently deliver high standards of food
Run efficient food storage, waste minimization, and food prep systems
Maintain impeccable food quality and presentation, adhering to established guidelines.
Requirements:
Culinary Diploma or equivalent on the job training.At least 1 to 2 years' experience as a CDP
Passionate about producing great food in a fast paced environment.
High level of workspace cleanliness and personal hygiene
Excellent communication skills
Reliable transport and clean drivers licence
