Punnet Eatery is looking for a Catering Sous Chef to join our team in a full-time role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a busy kitchen environment, and has a passion for creating high-quality food.
You’ll be working closely with our kitchen team to help produce a range of catering items, retail products, cabinet food and freezer meals, while also helping guide a small team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing and fulfilling catering orders
Producing items for our retail product range
Making meals for our freezer meal range
Creating new products for our sweet cabinet
Guiding and supporting a small team of bakers
Assisting with the management of kitchen hands
Supporting the hotline team during busy periods when required
About YouMinimum 1 year of kitchen experience
Confident cooking large batches of both savory and sweet food
Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment
Creative and confident suggesting new menu or cabinet ideas
Open to feedback and collaboration
A relevant qualification is not required, but is a bonus
What We OfferFull-time role
$25–$32 per hour, depending on experience
