Class A Asbestos Removal Supervisor
McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Class A Asbestos Removal Supervisor to support the delivery of asbestos and hazardous materials removal works across Wellington and the wider North Island, including remote project locations when required.

Reporting to the Project Manager - Wellington, you will be responsible for supervising Class A asbestos removal works, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, compliantly and in line with New Zealand legislation and company procedures.
This role involves regular travel across the North Island, including remote work locations. McMahon Services provides a company vehicle with overtime and work-away allowances paid in accordance with company policy. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do- Supervise Class A asbestos removal works in accordance with NZ regulations
- Lead and coordinate asbestos and demolition crews on site
- Create and complete safety documentation
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety requirements and ARCPs
- Conduct toolbox talks, site briefings and safety documentation
- Coordinate work sequencing across multiple scopes
- Liaise with management, clients and site stakeholders
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting
- Current Class A Asbestos Removal Supervisor qualification (NZ)
- Proven experience supervising Class A asbestos and hazardous materials works
- Strong understanding of NZ asbestos legislation and safety standards
- Current nomination on an asbestos removal license is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead site teams
- MOJ clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across the North Island
