Business Analyst
Fixed term role through to June 2026

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a regulatory Project team in Wellington on a fixed-term contract through to June 2026. This is a great opportunity to work on a large, meaningful programme focused on improving certification processes across multiple regulatory regimes.
In this role, you will work closely with the Senior BA, supporting process improvement initiatives across a number of regimes (with a pragmatic approach to prioritising focus areas). You will be responsible for mapping and improving business processes, writing detailed procedures, running workshops, and collaborating closely with technical and project teams in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.Daily standups and strong team engagement are key to success.
We are looking for a proactive and capable BA with:
- 3-5 years' Business Analysis experience
- Strong background in process improvement, technical writing, and workshop facilitation
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Experience delivering in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset
- High-level understanding of regulatory or compliance environments
Ideally, you will have experience documenting multiple processes and procedures at once and be comfortable working in a structured but fast-moving setting. Any experience in permit, licensing, or certification projects would be a bonus.
