Te Pae Tawhiti Transformation Programme will deliver services that are easier, more accessible and integrated across employment, housing, and income support, with greater use of partnering.A significant project within Te Pae Tawhiti is to establish a Digital Employment Service (DES) by launching a self-service employment platform that should not only enhance MSD's digital service for employment but also transform the effectiveness of MSD's wider employment capability.
This is part of a significant transformation Te Pae Tawhiti programme for MSD, that will deliver a new service model enabled by new capabilities, systems, and processes.You will needThe role is a business data analyst in the taxonomy and matching team to help implement a new capability into the Te Pae Tawhiti Programme that strengthens employment outcomes for our clients.
You will be involved in defining and tuning our employment taxonomy and matching capabilities.
You'll bring a collaborative approach to ensure dependencies and connections with other workstreams are understood and managed effectively.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to change the way we deliver our services, and to have a significant impact on the lives of New Zealanders.
You will be instrumental in defining and implementing a new service helping our clients get better employment opportunities.
We are looking for a candidate who will bring: An appropriate tertiary degree (or equivalent experience) focusing on business information systems, business processing, re-engineering, mathematics, statistics, and/or business administration, certification in agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) project methodologiesKnowledgeable in the use of data in taxonomies or equivalent Knowledge of the SDLC (software development life cycle) and best practice processesProven experience, knowledge of project delivery in both agile and hybridStrong skills in turning business outcomes into requirements and user stories for implementationRelevant experience of general business practice or specific MSD practicesAccuracy and attention to detail including asset and documentation managementAn in depth understanding of technology solutions within the business environment Ability to access and extract data/informationUnderstanding of data models and databases and how to extract information from themProven capability for critical thinking in the analysis of requirements and development of solutionsProblem solving and root cause identification skillsDemonstrated success in building, maintaining and influencing positive working relationshipsWorking knowledge of a variety of software packages & cloud servicesAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities, analyse complex problems and suggest appropriate solutions.Demonstrated ability to write to a high standard (clear, accurate, concise, appropriate to the audience).
