Our client is seeking an experienced Foreman to join their growing team in Queenstown. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee a variety of projects, including repairs, alterations, maintenance, and insurance work.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of assigned jobs, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

About the Role

As Foreman, you'll lead site crews across projects of varying sizes. This role requires strong organisation, clear communication, and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and your team.

You'll be someone who leads from the front, actively promotes a safety-first culture, and goes the extra mile to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise site teams across multiple projects
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver jobs on time and within budget
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and day-to-day site activities
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and health & safety compliance
  • Actively practice and promote a safety-first approach on site
What We're Looking For
  • Trade qualified carpenter with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in New Zealand
  • LBP registration advantageous but not essential
  • Strong leadership and team-oriented mindset
  • Helpful, respectful, and approachable
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using an iPad and digital job management systems
  • Physically fit with a positive, can-do attitude
