Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? You can be based in either the Auckland or Hamilton office.
My client is a well-regarded construction company known for its innovative approach and strong industry presence. With a broad portfolio of projects, including high-profile commercial builds, they are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinating costings, planning, and design for commercial projects
- Managing budgets, tendering processes, and ensuring projects remain financially viable
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Overseeing monthly reports, project claims, and cost control
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings through value engineering
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards during pricing and project execution
- Assisting with contract administration, subcontractor payments, and reconciliations
- Supporting continuous improvement in systems, processes, and reporting
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying or construction management
- Strong technical knowledge of QS and construction management within the industry
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in Jobpac, Lentune, CostX preferred but not essential
- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- You are an all-round great human who will add to the already fantastic culture
