Accounts Payables Specialist

Our Wellington based Finance team is looking for an experienced Accounts Payables Specialist. Reporting to our Financial Operations Manager, you'll be a pivotal team member and gatekeeper for our financial integrity. This is a hands-on position responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring all supplier relationships are maintained and payments are processed accurately and on time.Through daily operations, you'll make a direct impact on our cash flow and vendor relationships.
**Here is what you can expect from this role:**- To maintain supplier relationships and ensure vendor master data is complete which accurately reflects payment terms
- To monitor the Payables inbox and relevant Slack channels and respond to queries promptly
- To process all domestic and international supplier payments, accurately and on-time and to process any required refunds
- Daily DD/DC processing and month-end processing completed within deadlines, with any delays communicated early
- To reconcile supplier statements and investigate anomalies
- To support managers with Fleet management in liaison with our fleet partner/fleet registry
- Provide accurate financial and audit data on request
- Maintain user access and delegated authority within key systems Esker and SAP Concur
- To take full ownership of accounts payable processes and ensure user guidance is up-to-date
- Ideally tertiary qualified, with Bachelor of Commerce or similar
- 2+ years of sole charge accounts payable experience in a large corporate environment
- Experience with Netsuite or similar Finance software
