We are currently looking for experienced CNC Mill and Mill-Turn Operators to join our growing team at Gloster Engineering Ltd. Based in Hamilton, we operate a modern, well-equipped Workshop and supply high quality components to major Industrial Clients throughout New Zealand.

You will be responsible for Operating, Setting Up and Programming CNC machines to produce complex, high precision components. If you are someone who value accuracy, take pride in your work and want to grow with a forward-thinking Organisation, then we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities: -

  • Set up and Operate CNC milling or CNC Mill-Turn machines
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Use G-code to program or modify CNC instructions (Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazak controls)
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC mill or mill-turn operation
  • Strong knowledge of precision machining, tooling, and programming
  • The ability to interpret complex technical drawings
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • A team-focused, safety-conscious approach
